Christmas tradition: Pj time

Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge right now is to create a layout focusing on a Christmas tradition and it only had 2 requirements: a little journaling and at least one Cricut cut...Easy Peasy. I cannot believe I am waiting until the last minute to get this on here but better late than never!

The tradition I chose to focus on is Christmas pj giving.
If you click the picture you might actual be able to see the journaling but basically my mom started giving me Christmas PJ's to wear on Christmas eve when I was a little girl and once Jason and I got married we decided to pass that on to our little cousins and nieces and nephews as well. And the once we had Clayton we of course passed that tradition on to him as did my BFF, also a cousin, and my mom so needless to say there are TONS of PJs around here right now!
I cut these cute little guys out of Everyday Paper Dolls at 3" and the tag for the journaling was cut at 4" from the awesome free cart Tags, Bags, Boxes and More from my Gypsy.
The paper was all found in my scrap draw as I like to call it so sorry for the lack of brand! Hopefully this will be updated soon with actual pictures once I get them all back!!

Thanks for the Gifts and for the challenge

My Pink Stamper has challenge going right now that was a lot of fun and really made me think. It was another color challenge. Requirements were: green, blue, brown. I had been in the process of making thank you cards for my son to send to relatives and friends that sent him Christmas presents since we were not going home. I had the cards designed and all I just needed a color scheme...Thanks My Pink Stamper for the challenge! Killed two birds with one stone...

I used Smiley Card and cut the THX at 2x4" (I used my gypsy!) and the little tree inside is Doodlecharms at 2" as well.
The paper was SEI and Bazzil Basics

Decorating our tree Layout

My Pink Stamper is doing a Christmas/winter challenge. I decided to focus on decorating our tree. This was a super simple layout but really fun and very versatile. The only requirement was that it had something to focus on Christmas or winter.

Frame cut at 6 with the frame feature from Wild Card using Bazzill Basics paper and the tree is from Designer's Calendar at 5". The patterned paper is Paper Studio.

Pink and blue and weddings too

This post card style card was made for the Color challenge at My Pink Stamper. The requirements were to use 2 shades of pink, 2 shades of blue and black. I have been making so many Christmas and wintry type cards I wanted to do something a little different.
I had this elevated sticker boarder for AWHILE and when I saw it I knew it would be my inspiration.

As I said it is not a winter theme at all instead a wedding/anniversary theme. I know so many people that get married this time of year and thought wedding was a great direction to take this card.

The bride and groom were cut using Wild Card. I used the icon feature and fit to length making the length 2.5 inches and the width 2 inches.
The paper is all Bazzill Basics and the boarder is Provo Craft
